When I’m feeling sad and losing ground and my heart starts to cry
when sorrows burden me down and my soul begins to die,
then I become very still and my eyes look up above.
"Father show me what is your will
give me the wings of a dove,
let me fly higher than my thoughts can reach,
of all desires set me free
make me the instrument of your speech
and let your love carry me."
Bring me to the shore of salvation,
resting my heart in your care.
Help me to give up hesitation,
open my inner eyes to become aware.
Show me my mission in this life
give me strength to follow my path,
guide me so that my soul can be raised
that your love flows constantly through my heart.
Let no doubts make me mindless
make me understand it is never "mine",
it is your will in all of your kindness
grant me your blessings and your shine.
Give me discipline
not to listen to false prophecies,
let the wisdom of my heart be my orientation
spread all over me your mercy.
Let love and compassion
be in my gestures and actions
let me become my own mission
let me surrender in this satisfaction,
let me rest deeply in my heart
in that sweet, peaceful place,
where all things end and start
grant me all of your divine grace.
In front of your grace my head is bowing
I feel deeply grateful that you are allowing,
that all your beauty can flow
through my being it will show:
"I’m here to receive and that I can receive
that forgiveness is here for everyone
what a sweet feeling of relief
that is your will which will be done"
I’m here to give and to forget what I own
let love, light and peace shine through
guide me to the place where I am home
let what it has to be, just let it be.
